Barber shop quartet playing at the tipi wedding

Bowland Tipis Wedding

It was love at first sight when these two wedding musicians came across the stunning site at Bowland Tipis. They had plans for a music filled festival wedding, somewhere that was intimate, outdoorsy and a place they could bring their dog Olive to join the celebrations. Bowland Tipis ticked all the boxes and the date was set. In fact it turned out to be the venues very first wedding which made it even more exciting for everyone involved.

The day arrived with the sun beaming and everyone getting ready in the nearby lodges. Diane & Adam held their beautiful ceremony at St Leonard’s Church in Downham, Clitheroe with a surprise exit of morris dancers before a face full of confetti.

Colourful Tipi decor

Back at the venue, the Tipi was decorated full of vibrant flowers, colourful paper pompoms, lanterns and hand embroidered napkins for each of their guests. As the couple arrived, a barbershop quartet sang them through the entrance where guests were waiting. The miniature burgers and a pop up bar offered everyone refreshments as they enjoyed the sunshine whilst the couple headed off for portraits in the woodland. Just before the evening Olive the dog made an appearance and we headed off for a lovely walk into the woodland for photos with her.

Music themed festival wedding

As musicians themselves, Diane & Adam made sure music was a huge part of their day. To kick off the evening they hired an incredible 10 piece band to play and get everyone dancing. What an end to an incredible day and a superb first wedding experience for Bowland Tipis Well done guys!

I hope you enjoy some snippets from their day ❤️
