Intimate Manchester Town Hall Wedding
Winter wedding in Manchester
It’s always a pleasure photographing smaller weddings, so when Katie & Dan asked me to capture their intimate Manchester wedding, I was delighted to join them. Manchester is one of my favourite cities to shoot weddings, with a mixture of modern sleek architecture and old Victorian buildings, there are a wide range of venues to suit any couple. Katie & Dan decided on an early evening winter ceremony at Manchester’s historic Town Hall, a wedding venue I always love going back to. As well as capturing the ceremony, they had also asked for some personal photos before heading to a private meal with their family and friends. Katie entered the Small Ante room where Dan was waiting: she looked absolutely beautiful accompanied by her Dad. She was dressed in an elegant slimline gown from Ghost with shoes from Topshop. Her hair was styled in 1920s finger-waves, with striking vintage makeup to finish her look.
Relaxed wedding photography Manchester
After their intimate ceremony with some hand written vows, guests congratulated them before heading off to a nearby bar for drinks in the city centre. As the evening set in, I took the couple away for some relaxed photos around the Town Hall, taking advantage of the natural light. This building has the most incredible corridors, staircases and decor.. a really magical place for a winter wedding and these two fit in perfectly!
I had such a great time hanging out with these two.. Congratulations to Katie & Dan and best wishes for a happy future together. Here are a selection of my favourites from their beautiful winter wedding in Manchester 🙂
