Quarry Bank Mill Wedding Photographer – Charlotte & Mark
I first met Charlotte and Mark at a previous wedding 3 years ago as Charlotte was bridesmaid for Karen & Simon’s wedding. It was so lovely to hear about their engagement and thrilled they wanted to book me to photograph their big day in May.
They got married at Manchester’s Town Hall followed by a reception at Quarry Bank Mill in Styal, Cheshire. Hearing about their plans and various DIY projects, I knew their wedding was going to be amazing! The Mill was decorated in a woodland theme with flowers from Floral Affair arranged in teapots and a 5 tiered cheese cake from The Church Mouse.
Whilst Charlotte was in hair and makeup with Sophie, Clare my second shooter, spent the morning with the boys. With Mark and the guests waiting at the Town Hall, Charlotte arrived wearing the most beautiful beaded Anna Sully dress from The White Closet. I also loved her gold Rachel Simpson peep-toe heels, finishing off her modern vintage look.
A Woodland themed Cheshire Wedding
After an emotional ceremony, everyone arrived at the reception where I took Charlotte and Mark off for some photos inside the Mill. It was such a unique setting for photos as we were surrounded by all the victorian cotton machinery. When speeches ended, guests enjoyed a few rounds of garden games on the lawn before heading back inside for a night of partying with the Jukebox Band.
What a fabulous wedding at Quarry Bank Mill! Thank you so much for having me along, also thank you to Clare Robinson for her amazing second shooting 🙂
Here are my favourite images from their day!
