Lancashire Newborn photography

Natural in-home newborn session

There is something incredibly special about photographing a family as they welcome a new baby into their lives. Recently, I had the privilege of spending a relaxed morning with Mark, Laura and their three beautiful daughters, including their newest arrival, baby Fiah, who was just one month old. Whilst I recommend capturing babies in the first 1-3 weeks, this was such a lovely stage to photograph as Fiah was bright-eyed and content throughout much of the session.

Capturing the special bond between these siblings

I absolutely adore photographing in-home newborn sessions as they capture the real story of a family’s early days together. The familiar surroundings, the cosy cuddles on the sofa, and the quiet moments means that their photos will feel authentic. It was so lovely watching the two older sisters showing so much love and gentleness for their new baby sister. From tiny hands reaching out to hold hers to sweet snuggles with Mum and Dad, it was beautiful to capture the special bond between them.

A joy to spend time with this beautiful family and document such a meaningful chapter in their lives.
