Abbeywood Estate Wedding Cheshire
There are wedding days that really make me feel like I’m not working at all. Ruth & Matt’s epic day at Abbeywood Estate was definitely one of them 🙌
From the warmest welcome as I arrived in the morning, their day was full of laughter, good music and an impressive amount of interpretative dancing. Not forgetting how UNREAL they both looked.. it’s one of those weddings that is impossible to forget.
They choose to do a first look just before the ceremony and walked in greeting their guests together ready to exchange their vows. Their beaming faces showed everyone just how happy they were to get married.
Stunning peach wedding flowers
Ruth looked incredible in her fitted Savannah Miller dress and veil. Matt opting for a brown pinstriped tweed suit that matched the warm tones of their peach and white flower arrangements. The boys all wore wooden ties which were an amazing touch!
There was so much to see at this wonderful Cheshire venue. In fact, every corner of Abbeywood Estate holds so much beauty and curiosity. The grand lawns at the back of the venue, the hidden outhouses, rose gardens and woodland were just some of the places I loved. It’s safe to say I was probably spoilt for choice where to take them for photos.
Homemade wedding garden games
Guests enjoyed drinks on the lawn whilst hilariously trying to win at the garden games that Matt had cleverly built in his workshop for their wedding. They were a huge hit and were actually extremely hard to play.
Their band Bandit offered an eclectic mix of vintage and modern dance floor fillers as everyone danced the night away. Before leaving their wedding, the sunset appeared which meant a few more of this gorgeous pair in the golden sun – totally worth it as they danced and laughed about their favourite memories of their wedding.
