Best of 2015 – Lancashire Wedding Photographer
I love reflecting on the previous years of weddings; finding out what has inspired me, the places I’ve visited, people I’ve met and how it’s shaped my style. The one thing that hasn’t changed much is my passion for documenting and photographing weddings. A weekend for me isn’t just turning up with my camera. It’s being able to see two people make a promise, witnessing the next step of their journey and celebrating it with the people they love the most. My working day is full to the brim of happy surprises, emotions, stories and so many tears that I now take tissues.
As for 2015, what a beauty of a year it was, the final year as “Dotmoxee Photography” and some of my most favourite weddings. From travelling down south to Chichester for a sun-filled barn wedding, to my very first Greek wedding in Manchester, the most spectacular views in Cockermouth, a synchronized Charleston first dance at the Plaza and chasing the last of the golden light in Burscough. A huge, huge thank you to those couples who allowed me to be part of their special day, 2015 was such a brilliant year and you were all amazing!
I’m also incredibly excited to start the new year trading as “Emilie May Photography” and wish John Paul, my business partner of 4 years all the very best for the future – it’s been one wicked ride Garth!
I hope you enjoy some of my best bits from the previous year. 2016 I’m ready for you 😀
