Bivouac Wedding – Woodland Wedding York
After an intimate ceremony at Swinton Park, Hannah & Sam invited guests to their second day celebrations for their amazing Bivouac wedding. Their blessing, written by one of their friends, took place next to a druid’s temple surrounding the woodland of the Bivouac. The setting was beautiful and so relaxed.
Woodland ceremony with a Tipi reception
A beautiful canopy was set out, with guests sat on hay bales as they watched Hannah & Sam exchange their vows to each other. Hannah’s mum said a few words, in a perfect Yorkshire accent and suitable flat cap. Everyone loved it!
After the ceremony had finished, guests enjoyed some woodland games and the pop up bar for a round of drinks. It was amazing to take advantage of the landscape and woodland for photos, giving the couple a few moments together.
Outdoor wedding in Yorkshire
Back at the Bivouac a wonderful PapaKata tipi welcomed them, surrounded by personalised flower pots, candles and a well prepared playlist playing their favourite rock and metal bands. The Bivouac was such a brilliant venue to photograph, full of character and such a special place for a wedding.
Thank you to Hannah & Sam for the best 2 days. As you can see from the photos, their Bivouac wedding was so much fun to be part of!
Wishing you both all the very best as Mr & Mrs 🙂
