The Rolling Stones, Glastonbury 2013

Good times… at Glastonbury Festival!!

After 9 months of waiting and jumping around with excitement, the biggest festival of the year was finally upon us. We’d hired a 6 person RV camper, took 4 friends and began our journey to the famous Worthy Farm. Driving through the night was tiresome, the boys took turns to drive ensuring us ladies got some sleep!
Apart from one day of soaking wet rain, we had perfect festival sunshine. Freckles came out, Emilie tanned, JP went a funny red-tan colour, we watched too many bands to remember, danced like crazy people to The Rolling Stones, came back home with big smiley faces and more cereal bars than Tesco. We took lots of pictures on film too which we’re pretty excited to develop. It’ll be like Christmas but for film lovers.

For the music lovers out there, you should definitely check out the following bands. Some are favourites and some were just brilliant to see live at Glastonbury Festival..

Emilie’s list of loveliness –

Half Moon Run (I have them on repeat in my car at the moment)
Django Django
Everything Everything
The XX
Gabrielle Aplin
MS MR (one we missed)

JP’s list of awesomeness –

Smashing Pumpkins
Ben Caplin
The Rolling Stones
The Hives
Amanda Palmer
Charles Bradley (one we missed)
