It was back to Cumbria for Tessa and Chris’s Eden Barn wedding this summer – a truly romantic and unforgettable day for these two!

Known for its picturesque views and quiet surroundings, Cumbria is such a beautiful backdrop for a wedding, with many charming venues to choose from. Eden Barn offers an exclusive stone wedding barn, perfect for cosy romantic weddings, along with it’s own private meadow for portraits. It was great to be back at this stunning venue for Tessa and Chris’s big day.

White and gold wedding decor

With the sun shinning, guests enjoyed glasses of Prosecco and a game of laser clay pigeon shooting whilst listening to the beautiful music from the string quartet. The laser clay shooting was such an amazing idea, as guests loved a chance of winning the medal prize.

Bride Tessa wore an elegant white off shoulder dress and groomsmen in blue suits, a classic style that mirrored throughout their day. The barn looked absolutely beautiful ready for the wedding breakfast, decorated with gold cutlery, white roses and lit candles.

Romantic golden hour portraits

With the sun setting, Tessa and Chris enjoyed some time alone in the meadow for portraits whilst reliving some favourite moments from their day. It was clear to see these two had had the best day and couldn’t stop smiling throughout their photos. Golden hour portraits are my favourite and we were gifted with the most beautiful light!
