Rebecca & Gareth’s Wedding at Stockport Plaza
We’ve been bursting with excitement to show you this vintage wedding at Stockport Plaza.
We first met Rebecca at the first White Memoirs Vintage wedding fair, perfect for vintage loving brides who are planning a wedding. After hearing about her plans of a wedding inside a cinema, we literally couldn’t wait!
Wearing a custom made 60s style dress and tailored suit, Rebecca & Gareth travelled with their guests by vintage bus to a fabulous reception at Stockport Plaza cinema. Welcomed by a red carpet and sparkling lights, everyone queued up receiving a ticket stub, adding to the excitement of what was waiting inside.. A beautiful arrangement of vintage details were spread across tables. Custom temporary tattoos, an old typewriter and cut out David Bowie dolls. Not to mention the original Laurel and Hardy films being played on the big screen!
Their day finished with a spectacular first dance as the curtains opened on stage to reveal the pair dancing in the spotlight. It was such a magical moment. Guests joined them on stage along with their Northern Soul DJ and danced well into the night.
This place was a real hidden gem, brimming with art deco details and was an absolute dream to photograph. We seriously loved every minute!
We hope you enjoy looking back on Rebecca & Gareth’s 60s style wedding at Stockport Plaza.. 🙂
