Rustic Marquee Wedding Staffordshire
I always find marquee weddings a complete joy to photograph, the light tent filled with rustic tables, DIY details, generally LOTS of food and a dance floor that almost feels like you’re dancing outside! When Steph and Pete got in touch with plans of a marquee wedding at Steph’s family Staffordshire home, I was thrilled to be involved.
Rustic wedding details and food trucks
Their ceremony took place at their local church with Steph arriving in a horse and carriage, followed by a relaxed marquee reception at their family’s home. The marquee was dressed beautifully by their venue stylist Jemma Bond, with long rustic tables, high floral hangings and soft pink fabrics. The couple wanted their guests to feel completely relaxed with no formal sit down meal, instead opting for cute canapés of mini fish and chips, burgers and a huge platter of mixed tapas and salads. The food was heavenly! They even hired a crepe food truck to keep the evening guests happy with their delicious sweet and savoury treats.
Fun indie wedding band
Even the wedding band Hyde Family Jam was an incredible addition to their day, offering covers of classic songs in their upbeat folk style. I particularly remember all the ladies getting excited for “Let’s do the time warp” which you may spot in the photos!
After some of the funniest reactions to the best man’s speech, Steph and Pete took a walk into the evening sun which was the perfect time to capture their portraits. I loved that they’d involved their dogs earlier in the day for photos too.
It was a truly fun-filled day with lots of memories, delicious food, epic dancing and love. I hope the photos bring lots of joy to your faces as they do for me!
