Colourful Vintage Wedding Shropshire

After meeting Laura & Paul at their home in Leeds and hearing about their plans, I knew their Walcot Hall wedding was going to be a memorable one. The talk of Gin, Kate Bush and home made cakes got me excited to say the least.. and the venue itself looked absolutely stunning!

Situated in Shropshire, Walcot Hall has it’s own selection of quirky accommodation, a turquoise ballroom to host the reception and large beautiful gardens perfect for portraits.. oh and not forgetting it’s own forest with a hidden vintage tin chapel!

Laura & Paul pulled together an awesome wedding, with cool vintage style and many home made touches. Laura wore a 50s style floral tea dress (a bargain Etsy find!) along with some pink sparkly shoes. She looked amazing as she walked down to aisle.
After the ceremony, I took the couple away for some portraits around the grounds. The tin chapel was a perfect quirky backdrop and I especially loved the photo of them walking into the woods. Laura even pulled on her red wellies for the walk and Paul grabbed his flat cap. Their style fit perfectly with the surroundings.

Their reception room was decorated in vibrant colours with jars full of mixed flowers. Laura had hand sewn table numbers and made the cutest origami birds for place names. In the evening, everyone enjoyed some live music from their irish Céilidh band and guests joined in on the dancing which was great fun to photograph. What a brilliant wedding to be part of, thanks so much for having me along guys!
