Wyresdale Park Wedding

Wyresdale Park Wedding

Surrounded by woodland, fells and lakes, it was an idyllic setting for Sarah & Joe’s summer Wyresdale Park wedding. Before the big day, I met the pair for their pre-shoot at The Applestore cafe where we chatted more about their plans. They explained how they fell in love with the venue after many dog walks down Nicky Nook past the lake.

On the day, I met Sarah and her girls at her parent’s house where Sarah was full of smiles as she was getting her makeup done. I remember Sarah mentioning how they wanted their day to be relaxed and she didn’t want the typical “white” dress. Instead she’d opted for a beautiful floral Charlotte Balbier dress with matching coloured flower crown and bouquet.

Rustic wedding with boho style

The couple chose Wyresdale Park to host their celebrations after getting married in their local church. As always, Gemma from Bluebells and Daisies did a fantastic job of transforming their venue. The venue’s white walled barn was decorated with pink and purple flowers and a hooped wall handing draped in greenery and hanging flowers. Guests enjoyed the welcome drinks as I took the couple away for portraits around the beautiful grounds. There were so many perfect spots for photos, we were spoilt for choice at Wyresdale!

Relaxed Barn wedding Lancashire

After speeches guests geared up for a night of epic Ceilidh dancing and the couples’s own Ceilidh first dance, with music from The Ship Band. What a great end to a fantastic day with these two! I’m so looking forward to returning for another wedding at Wyresdale Park again very soon..
