Wellbeing Farm Wedding Photography
The last time I was at The Wellbeing Farm was for a wedding fair a few years ago, so it was great to revisit it for Sarah & Matt’s wedding and see the barn complete. This unique venue is located in the beautiful countryside of Edgworth, Lancashire and is also a working farm, home to a few donkeys and llamas. The barn has a really wonderful rustic charm with a canopy ceiling made from parachutes, full of twinkling lights. It’s not surprising that the venue has become so popular since!
Lancashire church wedding ceremony
The day began at Sarah’s parent’s home in Tockholes, a room full of giggles as the family were tucking into their breakfasts for the day ahead. Sarah had picked a beautiful tulle wedding dress, with a full skirt and lace detailing. It matched so well with her pastel wedding bouquet and hints of gypsophila in her hair – such a perfect look for their country farm wedding!
The couple’s ceremony was held at Tockholes chapel, close to Sarah’s family home, a quaint little church tucked down a small country lane. It was wonderful to watch them get married and I loved how cheeky Sarah’s nephew was throughout the service, making everyone laugh.
A quirky, rustic barn wedding
They arrived at their reception in style in a vintage morris minor as guests helped themselves to drinks and delicious canapés. Even the llamas came out to play to take photos with the couple and looked amazing in their bow ties. The barn was dressed beautifully; with tables named after the couples favourite walking spots, Sarah’s mum making all the bunting and chair covers and a lovely bunting themed wedding cake.
I had such wonderful day photographing this Wellbeing Farm wedding and I loved meeting Deckheds who made sure everyone was up on the dance floor whilst they pulled out all the indie and rock classics. Here are some of my favourites from Sarah & Matt’s big day!
